Dermalogica Facial
Face is “mapped” and analysed to assess most effective mode of treatment. Either Medi-Bac (for skin prone to breakouts), Age Smart (for skin in need of energising), Powerbright (for skin with pigmentation issues) or Environmental Control (for skin sensitive to inflammation). The prescribed combination of products for each treatment is applied in a series of stages and enhanced by facial massage, exfoliation, extraction, rehydration and a quenching masque.

RESULT: Skin feels deeply cleansed, elasticised, soothed, plumped and firm, whilst looking more evenly toned, unclogged and revitalised.

Skin Needling
Acupuncture style treatment (derived from Ancient Chinese medicine) using the skin’s natural healing properties and a contour roller, which “needles” the skin to spur collagen and elastin production. The pricking channels close quickly during the session as cells repair and start to produce fresh fibres to thicken the complexion. The contour roller is versatile, with different roller sizes meaning clients can be offered a plan to suit them.

RECOMMENDED FOR: Skin which is ageing or has experienced environmental damage or acne scarring.
DURATION: 1 hour
RESULT: 0.5mm roller: anti-ageing, plumping, removal of fine lines, evening of pigmentation caused by sun damage. 1.5mm roller: mellowing and often eradication of deep scars, pitted skin, open pores, acne scars, crows feet and deep wrinkles.
PAIN-O-METER: Numbing cream prior to application means little to no discomfort.
RECOVERY: Pinkish inflammatory reaction which fades within a day or overnight.
SUGGESTED COURSE: One treatment will show some improvement. Clients with more long term issues may need extra sessions, but will see an exciting 75%-80% change within three to five visits. Further treatments must have a minimum separation time of six to eight weeks.

SUGGESTED COURSE: After one treatment skin condition improves. Clients with long term issues often opt for one a week for five weeks, and then follow with a maintenance programme of one treatment per month.
